    Celebrate the Festive Season at Tramsheds

    The rush towards Christmas can be frantic. There’s ham to source (and glaze), mince pies to think about, Champagne to order and gifts to be wrapped. Amongst all the craziness, it’s easy to forget to properly thank the people who bind us all together at this time of year – our hosts. This year, Tramsheds is making it easy to champion the hosts of Christmas. Maybe it’s mum, who never fails to make an entrance with her tried-and-true family recipe, or that brilliant friend who manages to wrangle everyone together for a celebratory lunch right before the holidays. Tramsheds is filled options to make them feel special, each with an individual flavour and feel.  


    Right now, Tramsheds is a hive of festive activity. Butcher and The Farmer’s in-house butcher Blake Wilson is making more pork and fennel sausages than ever before - they’re the stars of his Christmas table. At Flour Eggs Water, the same spaghetti vongole that is whipped up at the Maiale family Christmas is hitting the menu. Cold-drip coffee infused Negronis and coffee-rubbed roasts are the order of the day at Garçon while Bodega 1904 is selling mince pies made from head chef Joel Humphries’ sherry-soaked family recipe that takes a year to prepare. There’s no better time than now to host a Christmas gathering.

    Over the coming weeks, the entire Tramsheds community will take part in gift markets, chef collaborations, workshops and exclusive recipes, tips and tricks to perfect your Christmas. Have your kids learn how to make cookies with Bekya, learn how to perfect your pasta making skills with Flour Eggs Water, how to shuck oysters with Fish & Co or what it takes to churn the perfect gelato and ice cream with Gelato Messina. Kitchen collaborations are running wild between restaurants - Osaka Trading Co will release a range of Japanese cocktails with Garçon, while Butcher and The Farmer are teaming up with Dust bakery to pair their charcuterie and incredible breads. No matter your age, taste or level of Christmas enthusiasm, you’ll find something for everyone this year. View all our events
